Inspired by the natural beauty and plentiful wildlife of the Chesapeake Bay, I took up photography in my 40’s. Armed with a new camera from my then not-yet-husband and a borrowed (never to be returned) lens from my brother, I began taking lengthy kayak excursions to seek out and capture the beauty around me. While frequently thwarted from capturing the perfect picture by the slow roll or, at times significant pitch, of the kayak, and my own inexperience, I am enjoying my journey of discovery.
I invite you to come along for the ride as I seek to capture some of the breathtakingly beautiful moments I experience when I escape to our home on the Bay.
